One of the best parts of traveling is the food. Having a taste of authentic local food from different countries is a luxury that every travel must take advantage of. If you think you’ve tasted it all, then you are most probably wrong.

This is one of the most important parts of traveling – if not the most important. Make a list of what you need for your travel, and stick to that list. If you are backpacking, this is extremely important. Half of what you put in your bag are actually things you don’t need for your travel!

Learn the Local Language

Give it a little bit of effort and you won’t be disappointed. Learning simple terms such as “Thank you”, “Please”, “How are you”, and I’m sorry” won’t hurt, and will make it easier for you to navigate around town.

You definitely would want to keep those memories and come back to them after a while, besides nothing brings back sweet memories than seeing them in photos. Bring extra batteries, too, as you would probably be staying outside for the whole day.

It’s always good to have a well-planned itinerary, but being spontaneous when you are in a totally different environment can be fun most of the time. Try different restaurants, go on a hike (with an expert guide, of course), or talk to a random stranger. Just make sure to always be cautious!
